- The visual appearance of OLED displays may change over the lifetime of the product. This is an expected behavior that may include image persistence or burn-in, where the screen displays a slight afterimage of an image even after a new image appears on the screen. This usually only occurs in extreme applications, e.g. B. when a high-contrast still image is displayed continuously for a long time. ASUS laptops with an OLED screen minimize this risk by setting Windows dark mode as the default and reducing the idle time before the screen turns off - both on AC power and on battery power (DC). This dual approach minimizes potential burn-in to maximize OLED screen lifespan, while also reducing unnecessary power consumption to optimize battery life. We also recommend adjusting the brightness of the OLED screen to complement the ambient lighting around you, rather than keeping the screen at full brightness all the time. Also make sure that an animated screensaver with a dark background is activated in the Windows settings.

Optimum CTR: Engineered for perfection
How a keyboard feels depends on the crucial relationship between peak force (also called actuation force) and contact force. Maximum force occurs when you press the key and achieve the maximum force that the key's underlying rubber dome can withstand without flexing. Contact force occurs when the bottom of the switch touches the circuit board to initiate an electronic signal which in turn generates the appropriate action for the switch. To achieve the most natural keyboard feel, ASUS keyboard experts have scientifically determined that the optimal ergonomic CTR for a key is between 45% and 60%. These forces are precisely measured and tuned with ASUS-designed rubber domes under the keys.
