Nach der Weltpremiere auf der Karibikinsel geht es losAudiQ2 der Ernst des Lebens: mit einem intensiven Einzeltest im Motorsport. Der Umzug in die Heimat dürfte ihm nicht besonders schwer fallen, Ende Juni ist es auf dem Testgelände in Lahr fast so nass wie im Golf von Mexiko.
Während unsere Kollegen Türme montieren und ihre Messgeräte justieren, haben wir noch Zeit, den kleineren Q genauer unter die Lupe zu nehmen: Mit einer Länge von 4,19 Metern ist er 20 Zentimeter kürzer als der Q3, selbst ein A3 Sportback kommt auf 13, Zentimeter länger. Doch auch wenn die Rückleuchten an den Polo erinnern: Wie ein Kleinwagen wirkt er keineswegs, dank des relativ langen Radstands und der im Vergleich zum A3 um 27 Millimeter breiteren Spurweite hinten.

Das Einsteigen durch die hohen, wenn auch nicht sehr breiten Fondtüren erfolgt verzerrungsfrei, und selbst große Passagiere haben im Fond überraschend viel Platz;Q2Bei der Beinfreiheit ist er sogar etwas besser als der Q3. Die Passagiere nehmen zudem auf einer komfortabel geformten Rückbank Platz, deren geteilte Rückenlehnen im Verhältnis 40:20:40 umklappbar sind. Durch das Vorklappen nur des schmalen Mittelteils entsteht ein kompletter Viersitzer mit reichlich Gepäckraum für den Einkauf im Sportartikel oder im Baumarkt. Andere Variationstricks wie eine verschiebbare Rückbank gibt es allerdings nicht, und auf längeren Fahrten können auch die Kindersitzträger, deren Kunststoffhülle aus dem Übergang zwischen Rückenlehne und Sitzfläche herausragt, Druck machen.

Pragmatisch: Der Q2 trägt keinen unnötigen SUV-Ballast.
Angesichts der kompakten Außenmaße überrascht der 405 Liter fassende Standard-Kofferraum, der für einen Erstwagen geeignet und dank seiner breiten Ladeöffnung einfach zu bedienen ist. Für Ordnung sorgen diverse Netze, seitliche Nischen für Kleinteile und ein großer Extraraum unter dem Kofferraumboden. Praktisch: Die aufgeklappte Basis wird durch seitliche Stützen gehalten, so dass beide Hände zum Tragen frei bleiben. Zusätzlich erhellen zwei helle LED-Lampen den dunklen Laderaum.
Infotainment vom Feinsten
Natürlich hat das Cockpit des Q2 weit mehr zu bieten als ein Paar LED-Leuchten, die Audi-typisch statt mit analogen Instrumenten mit einem großen, scharfen TFT-Display ausgestattet werden können. Wenn Sie die hier dargestellte Navigationskarte im Großformat haben, behalten Sie den Überblick über alle wichtigen Informationen und können sich das optionale Head-up-Display sparen. Da Audi aus Platzgründen nur auf ein einfaches System setzt, das die Geschwindigkeits- oder Navigationspfeile auf eine zu tief sitzende Glasplatte und nicht auf die Windschutzscheibe projiziert, ist die Nutzung des Zusatzdisplays eingeschränkt.

Dass der Q2 preislich knapp unter dem Sportback liegt, verraten Details wie Kunststoffeinsätze in den Türverkleidungen, bei denen Stoff oder Leder zum Einsatz kommen, oder ein Handschuhfach, dessen Innenraum nicht gleichmäßig beflockt ist, sondern ebenfalls aus gewöhnlichem Kunststoff besteht . . Für den Datenaustausch nutzt Audi mittlerweile übrigens fest im Auto verbaute SIM-Karten. Nach wie vor gehört das Infotainment zum Besten, was der Markt zu bieten hat.
Hör mal was2 vollmotorisiert mit 150 PS TDI
Aber genug der Arbeit und des Bügelns, die Kumpels haben ihren Messaufbau abgeschlossen, endlich können wir den Startknopf drücken. Der 150 PS starke TDI bildet den Mittelweg zwischen dem 116 PS starken 1,6-Liter und der stärkeren Variante des 190 PS starken Zweiliter-Vierzylinders. Um es gleich auf den Punkt zu bringen: Der Mittelklasse-TDI ist die perfekte Motorisierung für den SUV, der mit Allradantrieb und nahezu Vollausstattung über 1,5 Tonnen auf die Waage bringt. Der Quattro verbindet den 150 CV schlupfarm mit dem Asphalt und erreicht in 8,6 Sekunden Tempo 100 km/h. Auch weit über die Autobahn-Richtgeschwindigkeit hinaus kann der TDI spürbar ansteigen und pendelt sich bei durchschnittlich 6,9 Litern ein 100 km. Bei leichtem Gaspedal fallen die Fünf-Punkte-Werte locker aus.

Mit einer Länge von 4,19 Metern ist er 20 Zentimeter kürzer als der Q3.
Dass er den Verbrauch um vier Zehntel auf einen 150 PS starken Skoda Yeti senkt, liegt an Audis gutem Luftwiderstandsbeiwert von 0,30 und dem neuen Siebengang-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe mit Nasskupplung, das bei Varianten mit mehr als 320 Nm zum Einsatz kommt. Drehmoment. Die hohe Übersetzung von 8,7 verwandelt den siebten Gang in einen Overdrive und hält die Drehzahl niedrig – bei 100 km/h sind es nicht einmal 1.500 U/min. Nimmt der Fahrer im Effizienzmodus den Fuß vom Gaspedal, öffnet die Kupplung und der Q2 nutzt seinen Boost im Segelmodus (Slipper-Modus). Auch das sorgfältige Start-Stopp-System, das den Motor unterhalb von 7 km/h abschaltet, hilft, Kraftstoff zu sparen, beispielsweise im Leerlauf an einer roten Ampel.

Aber der Audi wird nicht nur rutschen, rutschen und vernünftig sein: Dank seiner serienmäßigen Progressivlenkung, deren Übersetzung mit zunehmendem Lenkeinschlag direkter wird, springt der Allradler fröhlich um jede eilige Kurve. schnell durch und mit etwas Seitwärts. Ein weiterer Vorteil der variablen Verzahnung: Da die Lenkung in der Mittelstellung nicht zu scharf reagiert, fährt der kleine Q trotz seiner kompakten Abmessungen geradeaus.
Auch im FahrdynamikkursAudi q2Sein Fahrer bleibt mit bösen Überraschungen verschont, bleibt bei zweimaligem Spurwechsel gut beherrschbar und hält unvorhersehbaren Lastwechselreaktionen stand. Trotz des spritzigen Fahrgefühls fallen die Slalomwerte nicht allzu scharf aus, auch weil sich der Schleuderschutz nicht komplett deaktivieren lässt. Auch bei „ESP deaktiviert“ sind Bremseingriffe im Grenzbereich spürbar. Mit 56,9 km/h ist der Q2 nur mäßig schnell durch die Pylonenschiene, ein A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI war im Test immerhin 7,6 km/h schneller.
Audi Q2 billiger und A3 Sportback
Die gebotene Dynamik dürfte für die meisten Kunden mehr als ausreichend sein, und sie geht nicht mit Komforteinbußen einher: Die adaptiven Dämpfer reagieren sehr sensibel auf kurze Schläge oder Querspuren, ohne starke Karosseriebewegungen bei langen Wellen zuzulassen. Auf unebenen Straßen macht sich die hohe Torsionssteifigkeit der Karosserie bemerkbar: Ein Wanken oder gar Rütteln ist nicht spürbar. Der niedrige Geräuschpegel im Innenraum und die kraftvollen Bremsen, die auch bei starker Beanspruchung kaum nachlassen, tragen zu einem entspannten und sicheren Fahrerlebnis bei.
Die großen Schwächen weist das Q2 also nicht auf, sofern in der Preisliste keine Überraschungen lauern. Derzeit nennt Audi nur Preise für die ab Herbst erhältlichen Basisversionen des SUV. Der 1.0 TFSI startet bei 22.900 Euro, der getestete 2.0 TDI startet bei 28.150 Euro und liegt damit 1.000 Euro unter dem vergleichbaren A3 Sportback. Da Kompakt-SUVs so gefragt sind wie nie zuvor, dürfte ihr Erfolg garantiert sein. Möchte jemand darauf anstoßen? Cuba Libre ist auch in Deutschland erhältlich.

MMI Navigation Plus und Connectivity-Comprobar
Für den Datenaustausch nutzt Audi mittlerweile fest im Auto verbaute SIM-Karten. Nach wie vor gehört das Infotainment zum Besten, was der Markt zu bieten hat. Die MMI Navigation Plus nutzt einen 8,3-Zoll-Bildschirm mit einer feinen Auflösung von 1024 x 480 Pixeln und setzt Eingaben dank des schnellen Prozessors nahezu verzögerungsfrei um. Praktische Online-Funktionen wie Echtzeit-Verkehrsmeldungen oder Google POI-Suche verbessern die Routenführung.
Wie auch Konkurrent BMW nutzt Audi nun für den Datenaustausch eine fest integrierte SIM-Karte, wodurch die Dienste auch in vielen europäischen Ländern ohne Roaming-Kosten genutzt werden können. Dank WLAN-Hotspot können Passagiere über die Audi Internet Connection mit bis zu acht mobilen Geräten im Internet surfen. Das WLAN-Datenvolumen muss jedoch separat reserviert werden. Andererseits überzeugt der Q2 durch seine Smart-Smartphone-Integration: Mobiltelefone unter der Armlehne verbinden sich drahtlos mit der Außenantenne, was den Empfang verbessert; Wenn sie mit dem QI-Standard kompatibel sind, laden sie kabellos.
Volles Programm
Die Schnittstellen Apple CarPlay und Android Auto ermöglichen zudem einen komfortablen und sicheren Zugriff auf ausgewählte Mobiltelefonanwendungen. Allerdings erfordert die Bedienung des gesamten Systems etwas Übung, vor allem das Multifunktionslenkrad wirkt zunächst überladen. Da hilft zumindest die aufschlussreiche Sprachsteuerung, die alle Befehle auf einen Schlag umsetzt. Auch wenn Audi noch keine Preisoptionen genannt hat, sollten die auf dem A3 basierenden Modelle nicht allzu weit entfernt sein. Und dort kassieren sie zwischen 4.000 und 5.000 Euro, um die ganze Infotainment-Pracht genießen zu können. Q2 wird dort wahrscheinlich auch groß sein.
Die MMI Navigation Plus lässt hinsichtlich Funktionalität, Darstellung und Verbindungsqualität keine Wünsche offen und überzeugt durch eine hervorragende Sprachsteuerung. Techniker werden daher damit zurechtkommen, dass die Operation ein gewisses Maß an Schulung erfordert. Die hohen Preise hingegen sind wohl schwerer zu ertragen.
